Technomancy is a combat style that allows you to use technology-based weapons and spells. The majority of these require some form of cell to use. Cells can be obtained by purchasing from certain shops (most notably Harold in Odyssey Outpost), crafting them through the Tinkering skill, or through drops from various enemies.


Technomancy can initially be leveled up by using a Cattle Prod or the Boulder spell. The Cattle Prod can be obtained as a starter weapon, as a quest reward from Dolores by the farm in New Williamsburg, or as a drop from farmers.

Experience

By default, for every point of damage dealt, the player will receive 3 xp divided between Health, Defense, and the combat skill used to deal the damage (1 xp each). This can be configured by pressing the "Edit Combat Xp Allocation" button located at the top of the skills menu to customize how the xp is divided. Technomancy xp is also received upon casting a spell.
