Hunting

"Hunting is your ability to utilize every piece of a slain animal. You can carve animal carcasses with a knife to give you hides and other parts. This stat also helps you create Perfect Carcasses, which allow you to skin them twice and gain more experience." - In-game tooltip

Upon killing a huntable mob, a carcass will appear and has a chance to be perfect. Perfect Carcasses grant 20% extra Xp and can be carved twice. Boosts to the "Hunting stat" further increase perfect carcass chances (but don't affect level requirements). Overcharged mobs (mobs with a cyan glow) grant an addition 2.6x bonus to Xp. Normal overcharged carcasses can be carved 3 times and perfect overcharged carcasses can be carved 4 times.

Hunter Charms made through the JewelryMaking Skill grant extra Hunting Xp. There are 5 tiers, and each provides a bonus of (2%*tier level), for example +2% for Hunter's Charm (1) and 10% for Hunter's Charm (5).

Nodes

All Carcasses require a knife in order to carve, and all bugs require a bug net to catch. Bug nets can be crafted through the Woodwork Skill.
