	Smithing is used to smelt ores into ingots and to craft ingots into armor and weapons. Boosts to the "Smithing Stat" reduce the level requirements for ~~crafting~~. Currently the only item in the game that boosts this stat is the ~~"[[~~Anvil Necklace~~]]"~~ made through ~~the [[~~Jewelrymaking\|~~JewelryMaking Skill]]~~, which gives a boost of 1 (2 for perfect).
