== From The Community == === Slaw (corpsedawg) === ==== Training Early Game ==== * Train on raiders to collect scrap metal and energy cells * cells>mixology xp easy at lvl 8 (swirling pots) * scrap metal>jewellery for yourself and xp ==== Arrows/Caps/Woodworking/Survival ==== * chop wood>knife logs>sell arrow shafts for caps ==== Training Ranged & Techno ==== * Train them on low mobs that you can use the resources for low skills * (raiders/nomads/coyotes/rabbits), whatever resource you're needing * nomads drop energy cells/coffee seeds * Use 3-0-0 XP Allocation === Mole (@s_l_h_m) === ==== You can donate noted items when levelling Karma ==== * They still get donated one at a time, but you can take more stuff with you to the donation box this way ==== Energy Cells can be bought at a shop in Odyssey ==== * These are ammo for laser weapons. You can also get them by killing Nomads and Raiders. ==== Change Right-Click Menu Order to left-click bank to open ==== * If you put Quick Dialogue at the top, this will enable you to simply left-click the bank to open it and skip chat dialog. Also, if you put secondary action near the top, it will mean that you can left-click a settler or raider to Rob them. This makes training the robbery skill much easier. ==== You can use Iron Pickaxe to mine before LVL 30 mining ==== * Just have it in your inventory. At Level 30 you will be able to equip it, opening up one extra slot for ore === Leedly (leedly) === * Shift click to drop * Ctrl click with shop open to sell * Donate noted items for Karma * Change combat XP ratios by clicking top of 3 menu * Attack with a ranged weapon and then switch to melee to maximize efficiency === Ellz === * Good early start towards coffees (24 Agriculture, 24 Mixology) ** Pick up berry seeds from Old Williamsburg and plant them until 5 Agriculture. *** Stocking up on berry seeds for berries is recommended for beehives if you get a Queen Bee from a nest. Though travelling to the beehive can take time, once per day harvest will give a lot of Agriculture XP. ** Rob settlers until 12 Robbery for Wheat Seeds and Primer Caps, plant all berry or wheat seeds while doing this. *** You can die and respawn nearby on the island so don't worry about food. *** If not doing beehives yet, Robbery at Farm Stall much later (56 Robbery) will give plenty of berries for beehives. *** Beehives provide Honey in huge numbers which can be used as Farm Animal Feed or Sugary Food. *** Farming cows will be useful much later for Milk to make Latte (48 Mixology). ** Once you leave New Williamsburg immediately progress the main quest and retrieve your companion Cain for an extra 7 inventory slots. ** At 12 Robbery you can use the meat stall. Steal and cook all food you can. Train combat on Raiders until you can comfortably kill Nomads using the food, for '''Energy Cells''' and '''Coffee Seeds'''. *** Best location is Salado with five crop patches, meat stall, bar stall, water well, cooking range, '''Nomads''', '''Raiders''' and Mixing Table. *** Odyssey is an option with three crop patches, meat stall, cooking range, '''Nomads''' and '''Settlers''' if you still need more seeds! ** At 24 Robbery you can use the bar stall in Salado. This will be your home for a while. You can fill empty vials at the well while banking. Mix any potions you can. '''Don't forget to harvest crops'''. *** Recommended to first harvest enough poppies and aloe to rush level 10 Mixology. Bar stall does occasionally give crushed poppies. *** At level 10 Mixology, use all Energy Cells from Nomads/Raiders to make Swirled Storms all the way to 24 Mixology for coffees. You can do this on the way to the bank while stealing. ** If you need more energy cells, alternate to meat stall to keep farming coffee seeds and cells from Nomads. ** At 24 Agriculture plant coffee seeds forever. Coffee beans stack like berries so they are very convenient to harvest. ** At 24 Mixology you can make coffees! Stealing from the bar stall and making coffees with the small vials is a great money-saver for the early game.
